Community / JR schools in So Cal, LA area, to transfer liberal arts?
Hi I'm from Portland, OR I am graduating in June and I would appreciate information on some universities really well you can start with a major in art, graphic design … maybe East Los Angeles, Pasadena, Riverside, Santa Monica, personal testimonies chance to really put it in perspective If you could describe your experience, what is the current situation in the university ALSO, I need information about living there as a student out of state, how to find a job like? Im still out financial support, but I have asked How is it working for you? Is it enough to live? And how is the area, people, scenes, places to go things to do, the crime rate, and all information that no .. I feel like out of Portland, lived here all my life. Looking at the main focus on the art of photography, hobbies include long-boarding, water sports, snowboarding, music, want to take up surfing, so a place near the beach would be preferable as a place of residence, and thanks for your time!
I understand your frustration with Portland. It is a beautiful city, but it has limitations. However, if you want to come to California to attend community college, you must first spend a year working here and taking up residence and not worth paying the each state tuition to attend community college and virtually no financial support except loans available. Most community colleges list of requirements for residency in their websites. If not, contact your registrar's office of information .. In essence, the residence is not set to move to a state of the purpose of education. This means that you can not enroll in any school of any kind until you have been living here for one year. It is also necessary to change your driver's license, vehicle registration, voting record, etc. It really helps if you work and pay taxes in California. The best public university in the academic community and transfer purposes in southern California is generally considered to Santa Monica City College of the beach, I have information on a photography program there, but I am very skeptical that photo capabilities, improved significantly by study at university. I think it is better to study in private as an apprentice with a skilled photographer. There is also a shortage of work for photographers, with the possible exception for wedding photographers.
