Photography and the magic of Art
One of the more emotional components of photography is the study of artistic photography. People naturally love or despise a photograph of what they love or despise a painting or a sculpture in particular. Art photography has the ability to move viewers past just look at an object or an image to see an emotion, a passion or a concept that moves the thoughts and feelings within an individual.
What artistic photography has moved people and invokes emotional responses? Often viewers themselves can not determine exactly what causes this extreme response within themselves when presented with an image. Some of the most famous art photographers such as Ansel Adams, Dorthea Lange Anne Geddes and all had a specific photographed subject we often represent the images in ways that were not typical of the way we normally see.
The following artists have contributed the development of art photography through the use of themes in his photography:
* Anne Geddes – famous for its many photos of babies, this photographer Art is one of the best known modern photographers. His works have been presented on cards, calendars and books.
* Dorthea Lange – best known for his photographs surprising and haunting of depression, Dorthea Lange also made some pictures to capture the internment of Japanese Americans after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. Due to the sensitive nature and the political climate of the time, many of these photographs were not released until 1972.
* Ansel Adams photos – amazing and impressive, usually in black and white, nature at its best. Ansel Adams used his camera to show the world the beauty of the National Parks like Yosemite.
* Galen Rowell – Adventure renowned photographer who has captured wildlife and nature worldwide. His photographs range from the wildlife and terrain Africa via Antarctica.
* Henri Cartier-Bresson – these pictures amazing movement of people of all ages are very suggestive. While some of the subjects of the photographs such as Truman Capote and John Houston are well known, many of the photographs are everyday people with no particular fame or notoriety.
* Jim Brandenburg – this artist features very close and detailed photographs of wolves in nature. Brandenburg often spent literally hours waiting in extreme conditions to the right angle and shot.
All photography, art is a combination of luck and technical discipline. Being able to wait only adequate light expression, or movement to capture what the photographer is trying to explore is both an art and a science. Art photographers have become famous for his talent and training have spent years developing techniques and styles that make your images stand out. Learn the art of photography is a wonderful way of capturing images to save future generations.
